Glulam Bundle Bridge

A bridge created for an architectural competition I thought is worth sharing. The idea behind the design is to create a bundle of glulam beams that all follow a direction derived from three points. The glulam bundle can be adjusted/trimmed in a custom shape in order to follow the requirements of the bridge shape. The form (transforming section) of the bridge can be tapered and scaled and the beams are constrained to stay inside it. Obviously all aspects of the geometry are parametrized and the bridge can be transformed into an almost infinite set of forms.

Warning, the definition is rather heavy from a computation point of view.
